Titans rally to topple Whundas in Chow Cup

KAMLOOPS — The South Kamloops Titans are the first to have their name etched onto the Chow Cup.

South Kam tallied 34 unanswered points to earn a 34-13 victory over the Westsyde Whundas in the B.C. High School Football regular season contest on on Saturday (Sept. 28) at South Kamloops secondary.

Cole Rigler threw three touchdown passes and Cruz Parsons snagged two interceptions for South Kam (2-0), which will square off against the Okanagan Mission Huskies (1-0) on Friday (Oct. 4) in Kelowna.

Aulden Wyman and Kooper Groeneveld registered points for the Whundas (1-1), who are scheduled to host the Vernon Panthers (2-0) on Friday, a 6 p.m. start at Hillside Stadium.
