Behm paces Blazers to victory with four-point night

KAMLOOPS — Nathan Behm made a statement on Friday (Sept. 27), tallying three goals and one helper for his Kamloops Blazers in a 5-3 win over the Seattle Thunderbirds in WHL action at Sandman Centre.

Andrew Thomson and Oren Shtrom also notched goals for the Blazers (1-1-0-0) in support of goaltender Logan Edmonstone, who made 32 saves to win his first start of the campaign.

Nathan Pilling, Nishaan Parmar and Braeden Cootes scored for the T-Birds (0-2-1-0), whose goaltender, Jaxson Dikur, stopped 28 shots in a losing effort.

The Blazers are scheduled host the Victoria Royals (2-0-1-0) on Saturday (Sept. 28), with puck-drop slated for 6 p.m.
