Lillooet emergency room closed overnight Tuesday

LILLOOET, B.C. — The emergency department at the Lillooet Hospital and Health Centre will once again be closed overnight.

Interior Health says the emergency room closed at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday (Sept. 24) and will remain closed until 8:00 a.m. Wednesday.

IH says the closure was caused by limited physician availability.

Those in need of emergency medical care are urged to call 9-1-1.
