100 Mile District General Hospital emergency department closed temporarily

100 MILE HOUSE — The 100 Mile District General Hospital emergency department will be closed from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday (Sept. 21), according to an Interior Health press release.

Patients can access care at Cariboo Memorial Hospital in Williams Lake or Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops.

The closure in 100 Mile House is due to limited physician availability, according to the release.

Those experiencing life-threatening emergencies should call 911 for transport to the nearest available facility.
