Storm wrap perfect pre-season with victory over Centennials

KAMLOOPS — The Kamloops Storm capped a perfect pre-season with a 6-2 victory over the Merritt Centennials in Kootenay International Junior Hockey League action on Saturday (Sept. 14) at McArthur Island Sport and Event Centre.

Dylan Konschuh and David Ander tallied two goals apiece for the Storm, with Jacob Selent and Keenan Holland adding singles.

Dawson Holitzki stopped 27 shots to pick up the victory between the pipes.

Maxim Radmanovich and Kael Kozicki scored for Merritt in support of goaltender Dylan Spackman, who stopped 25 shots in a losing effort.

The Storm posted a 5-0 record in exhibition play and will begin the regular season on Friday (Sept. 20), when they travel to Chase to play the Heat.
