KAMLOOPS — A new long-term care home in Kamloops will feature nearly 100 new publicly-funded beds.

In a news conference Friday (Sept. 6), B.C. Health Minister Adrian Dix announced the AgeCare Sun Rivers building at 580 Shuswap Rd. E. will open on Oct. 21, 2024.

The province says all beds in the care home are publicly-funded, single-bed rooms.
