North Thompson Fall Fair & Rodeo rides its way to 75 year Anniversary
BARRIERE. B.C. – The 75th annual North Thompson Fall Fair & Rodeo is underway at the North Thompson Fall Fair Grounds in Barriere. This year’s theme is Come Home for the Harvest and features all sorts of activities.
The rodeo grounds will be busy as the BC Rodeo Association Polaris Championship Finals will be on all Labour Day Weekend. The best of the best will be competing for the honour of being named Provincial Rodeo Champions.
The Fair also features its usual activities including horse rides, 4-H competitions, and an exhibit hall chocked full of activities from cooking and baking to sewing and gardening. A variety of food vendors are placed around the fairgrounds to make sure you’re fed and hydrated. Along with bounce houses in the Kid Zone that include games and even a mechanical bull.
