WolfPack men’s soccer team falls to T-Birds in Vancouver

VANCOUVER — TRU WolfPack rookie Minwoo Kang gave his club a 1-0 lead over UBC in men’s soccer action on Saturday (Aug. 24) in Vancouver, but the hometown Thunderbirds stormed back to win 3-1.

The WolfPack, who fell 3-0 to the Victoria Vikes on Friday (Aug. 23) on Vancouver Island, are 0-2 and aiming for their first victory of the Canada West campaign next weekend on home turf.

TRU will host the Trinity Western Spartans of Langley on Friday (Aug. 30) and the Fraser Valley Cascades of Abbotsford on Saturday (Aug. 31).
