Security photos show suspect in June assault at downtown Kamloops business

KAMLOOPS — Kamloops RCMP have released a pair of blurry surveillance images in an effort to generate clues to help solve a two-month-old assault case.

On Friday, June 21, RCMP responded to an assault at a business in the 300-block of Victoria Street.

Security video from the scene shows the suspect — a man wearing a black hat, orange shirt and black vest. While the images are blurred, the man cuts a distinctive figure.

“The images are blurry, but we are hoping someone may be able to help us identify him, or witnessed the assault, which involved a suspect pouring liquid onto another individual,” said Kamloops RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Crystal Evelyn.
