October 19, 1973 – July 27, 2024    

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of David William Schuck on July 27, 2024. 

Dave was born on October 19, 1973, in Calgary, Alberta. He went to St. Mary’s high school in Calgary where he excelled at football and made many life-long friendships. He loved the outdoors and moved to B.C. to enjoy all that the lakes and mountains had to offer. Dave had a love for animals, especially his yellow labs, Jake and Jeep. He had a big heart, a wicked sense of humor and he was truly the life of the party. He will be missed beyond measure. 

Dave is survived by his mother Judith Dubé, and father Bill St. Cyr; sister Andrea (Greg) Stopanski and their children Erik and Ryann; sister Joelle (Dale) Gilmour and their children Tenielle, Brittany and Josh; brother Jamie Dubé; step- father Mike Dubé; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. 

A celebration of Dave’s life will be held at a later date. 

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Shuswap Paws Rescue Society.
