Kamloops Fire Rescue extinguishes interface fire in Barnhartvale

KAMLOOPS — Kamloops Fire Rescue knocked down an interface fire in the Barnhartvale neighbourhood Monday evening.

The City of Kamloops first reported of the fire at around 8:20 Monday night. Witnesses say it took place near the 1300-block of Highridge Drive.

The City says KFR extinguished the fire at around 9:25 Monday night and crews remained on site to mop up hot spots.
