Olynyk, Canada hold off Greece to open Olympics with victory

Kelly Olynyk and Team Canada held on to top Greece 86-79 in men’s basketball action on Saturday (July 27) at the Olympic Summer Games in Paris.

Olynyk had four points and six rebounds in 13 minutes and 11 seconds of action.

World No. 7 Canada is in what might be considered the Group of Death, along with No. 14 Greece, No. 5 Australia and No. 2 Spain.

Australia upset Spain 92-80 earlier on Saturday.
