Clearwater emergency room to close Thursday night – again

CLEARWATER, B.C. — It’s a familiar chorus for Clearwater residents.
Interior Health has announced the emergency department at Dr. Helmcken Memorial Hospital in Clearwater will be closed Thursday night due to limited nursing availability.
The closure will begin at 6:00 p.m. Thursday (July 25) and last until 7:00 a.m. Friday.
Those in need of emergency medical care are advised to call 9-1-1 or visit the emergency departments in either Kamloops or 100 Mile House.
