Williams Lake emergency room closed overnight Tuesday

WILLIAMS LAKE, B.C. — Interior Health (IH) has announced an overnight closure of the emergency department at Cariboo Memorial Hospital in Williams Lake.

In a news release, IH says the emergency room will be closed from 6:30 p.m. Tuesday (July 23) to 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday. It does not list a reason for the closure.

Those in need of emergency medical services are advised to attend emergency rooms in Quesnel, 100 Mile House or Bella Coola.

IH says all other inpatient services are continuing as normal at Cariboo Memorial.
