Alexander Lake wildfire north of Kamloops being held: BC Wildfire Service

KAMLOOPS — The closest active wildfire to the City of Kamloops is being held at 33 hectares in size.
In an update Sunday (July 21) night, the BC Wildfire Service says the Alexander Lake wildfire at Porcupine Meadows Park nearly 32 kilometres north of Kamloops is expected to remain within its current perimeter.
The Alexander Lake wildfire was discovered on Thursday, July 18, and is suspected to be caused by lightning.
The wildfire service says it’s continuing with a full response, which includes multiple crews and two helicopters.
