Kamloops Venom snare third consecutive lacrosse league title

KAMLOOPS — The Kamloops Venom are champions of the Thompson-Okanagan Junior Lacrosse League for a third consecutive season.
Kamloops knocked off the visiting Vernon Tigers 13-7 on Saturday (July 20) at Memorial Arena to earn a 3-0 sweep of the best-of-five final.
The Venom locked up their eighth league title since inception in 2008 and will prepare to compete for the B.C. title.
Kamloops will play host to a best-of-three series against the B.C. Junior B Tier 1 Lacrosse League champion to determine which club wears the provincial crown.
