Highway 1 closed in both directions after vehicle incident in Sorrento; major delays expected

Highway 1 is closed in both directions near Little River Road in Sorrento after a vehicle incident that took place 12 kilometres east of Chase, according to the Drive BC website.
Those travelling on that route between Kamloops and the Shuswap can expect major delays.
Alternate routes are available via Highway 97, Highway 97A and Highway 97B.
The next update on the Drive BC website is slated for 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
