Berger primed for Paris, second run at Olympic Games

PARIS, FRANCE — Matt Berger will become a two-time Olympian later this month in Paris.
The 30-year-old skateboarder from Kamloops is one of 22 athletes who qualified to compete in the men’s street competition, which will take place on July 27, one day after the opening ceremony at the Olympic Summer Games in Paris.
Berger faced nightmarish adversity in his first Games experience in Tokyo in 2021 — and it’s fuelling him in Paris.
