NorthPaws cough up lead late, suffer 12th consecutive defeat

KAMLOOPS — An agonizing run of defeat extended for the Kamloops NorthPaws on Saturday (June 22) in West Coast League baseball action at Norbrock Stadium.

The Edmonton Riverhawks scored one run in the 10th inning and held on for a 6-5 victory to hand the NorthPaws their 12th consecutive loss.

Matt MacDonald, Jacob French and Chris Catalano had two hits apiece for Kamloops, which had a 5-1 lead heading into the eighth inning.

Edmonton scored three runs in the eighth inning and one run in the ninth inning to tie the game and force an extra inning.
