Deadline approaching for 2024 Kamloops Y Dream Home Lottery ticket sales

KAMLOOPS — Time is nearly up to buy tickets for this year’s Y Dream Home Lottery. The annual prize draw serves as a fundraiser for programs and operations at the Kamloops Y.

This year’s Dream Home is located in the Orchard’s Walk Development in Valleyview, while the 50/50 draw pot has climbed well over $800,000.

Y Dream Home Spokesperson Bryce Herman says other prize packages are also up for grabs in this year’s draw, including a new car, a hot tub package, vacations, and more. Herman adds that tickets are eligible for each prize.

“Your ticket gets drawn, it gets back into the random generator, the next ticket is processed, etc, etc. So you’re eligible for every prize,” he notes. “We have in the past had people win more than once so we do know that that’s actually a fact.”
