Wildfire sparks south of Clinton, grows to 4ha

CLINTON, B.C. — A small wildfire ignited south of Clinton Friday (June 14).
The B.C. Wildfire Service (BCWS) says the fire was discovered along Highway 97, about 1.3 kilometres southeast of Salt Lake.
As of Friday afternoon, the fire was measured at four hectares and listed as out of control.
BCWS says it believes the fire was caused by human activity.
