March 10, 1938 – May 26, 2024   

Anne Geernaert passed away in Kamloops, B.C. on May 26, 2024, at 86 years of age. 

Anne is survived by her daughter Lynn (Brian), son Douglas (Irene), four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. 

She was predeceased by her husband Edward and daughter Patricia. 

Anne was born in Yorkton, Saskatchewan. She moved to Regina, then Kamloops and later to the Paul Lake – Pinantan area. She worked at BC Tel and the Kamloops Sentinel newspaper. She was also a dedicated homemaker. 

Anne was an active Kamloops United Church member, teaching Sunday school, organizing the Senior Citizen’s Luncheon and for many years working in the thrift shop. 

Later in life Anne and her husband enjoyed travel and took several bus and rail tours through British Columbia, Alberta and Washington State. 

A Remembrance of Life Service will be held at Kamloops United Church, 421 St. Paul St., Kamloops on Friday June 14, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. 

In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation in memory of Anne.
