Power knocked out for thousands in Sun Peaks and area

SUN PEAKS, B.C. — Power has been knocked out for thousands of residents in and around Sun Peaks Tuesday (June 4) morning.
BC Hydro says a crew has been assigned and is expected to arrive at around 12:15 p.m. Tuesday. The outage has been affecting 2,101 customers in Sun Peaks, Whitecroft and east of Heffley Creek since 10:49 a.m. Tuesday.
The outage’s cause is under investigation.
