Taylor Swift once again has the top album in the country, as The Tortured Poets Department will spend its sixth straight week as the No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 chart. Tortured Poets now ties Folklore as Swift’s longest running No. 1 albums following their debuts, with each record spending their first six weeks atop the charts. This will be Swift’s 75th total week at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 throughout her career, which is a record for solo artists. Elsewhere in the Top 5, Twenty One Pilots’ Clancy debuts at No. 3, recording the biggest week for any rock album in 2024. BTS singer RM also scored his biggest debut week ever, as his new album Right Place, Wrong Person came in at No. 5. Billie Eilish’s Hit Me Hard and Soft stays at No. 2, while Morgan Wallen’s One Thing at a Time falls one spot to No. 4. (Billboard)
