KAMLOOPS — Another day, another deal for the Kamloops Blazers.

The team announced the acquisition of 20-year-old defenceman Layton Feist from the Spokane Chiefs Friday (May 31). Going the other way is a third-round pick in the 2025 WHL Prospects Draft.

Feist, from Dawson Creek, B.C., has registered 92 points in his 226-game WHL career with Spokane and Regina. Last season, he notched nine goals and 29 assists in the regular season, adding two goals in three playoff games.

The draft pick going to Spokane was originally acquired by the Blazers from the Chiefs in January, when Kamloops sent forward Shea Van Olm to Spokane for a package that included forward Cole Wadsworth.
