KAMLOOPS — The Kamloops Rugby Club Raiders will play for provincial gold next Saturday (May 4) at Burnaby Lake Rugby Club.

Kamloops (11-0-3) will square off against the undefeated Squamish Axemen (13-0-0) in the men’s Division 2 B.C. Rugby Union (BCRU) final.

Kickoff is slated for noon, according to the BCRU website.

Cam Graham had a pair of tries for the Raiders in a 38-24 victory over Kats Rugby Club of Kitsilano on Saturday (April 27) at Exhibition Park in a semifinal matchup.

Meanwhile, the Raiders’ women had their championship hopes dashed on Saturday on the Lower Mainland.

Burnaby Lake knocked off visiting Kamloops 41-12 to advance to the women’s Division 1 championship game.
