Kamloops RCMP discover suspicious Saturday morning fire

KAMLOOPS — Suspicious fire activity persists in the Tournament Capital.

Kamloops RCMP Staff Sgt. Darren Dodge told CFJC Today on Saturday (April 20) that police on patrol discovered a fire at a residence on the 1300-block of Tranquille Road at about 3 a.m. on Saturday.

Kamloops Fire Rescue responded to put out the fire.

“There were no injuries reported, however, the fire is suspicious in nature,” Dodge said.
