Former Blazer Ingram nominated for NHL’s Masterton Trophy

PHOENIX — Former Kamloops Blazers goaltender Connor Ingram is in the running for a major NHL award.

Ingram is the Arizona Coyotes’ nominee for the Bill Masterton Memorial Trophy, awarded annually to the “player who best exemplifies the qualities of perseverance, sportsmanship and dedication to hockey.”

The Saskatoon-born Ingram played for the Blazers from 2014 to 2017, making Team Canada for the 2017 World Junior Hockey Championship.

He was drafted in the third round of the 2016 NHL Entry Draft by the Tampa Bay Lightning.
