Kamloops International Buskers Festival puts out call for street performers and community groups
KAMLOOPS — Acrobats, clowns, magicians, musicians and other artists and street performers are being called to Kamloops in late July.
The Kamloops International Buskers Festival (KIBF) opened applications to take part in the four-day festival at Riverside Park from July 25 to 28.
In a news release issued Thursday (April 5), the KIBF says the fifth edition of the festival will open its booth area for non-profit community groups. Non-profit organizations can help raise awareness for their cause, but they must have an interactive activity for attendees to participate in.
Along with buskers from Kamloops and area, the KIBF says it will feature six professional street performers from across Canada, the United States and Australia.
