Edmonstone solid in net, but Blazers fall to Giants in Langley

LANGLEY — The Kamloops Blazers will be aiming for revenge on Saturday (March 16) in WHL action, with the Vancouver Giants coming to town in time for a 6 p.m. start at Sandman Centre.
Max Sullivan scored for Kamloops in a 3-1 loss to the Giants (31-29-4-0) on Friday in Langley, the defeat leaving the Blazers (20-38-3-3) at the bottom of Western Conference standings.
Logan Edmonstone backstopped Kamloops, with the 16-year-old goaltender stopping 34 shots in a losing effort.
Jaden Lipinski, Ty Halaburda and former Blazer Connor Levis (empty-netter) scored for the Giants, whose goaltender, Brett Mirwald, made 33 saves to pick up the victory between the pipes.
