KAMLOOPS — Greg McCune, former two-term mayor of Enderby, will represent B.C. United in the provincial election this fall.
McCune won the nomination in the Salmon Arm-Shuswap riding, prevailing over candidates Linda Hawes and Allysa Hopkins after a vote by party members on Saturday (March 9) in Salmon Arm.
“With a wealth of experience in entrepreneurship and municipal governance, Greg is ready to bring his passion and expertise to the provincial stage,” stated the Party on a social media post.
B.C.’s next provincial general election is scheduled for October 19, 2024.
