UPDATE (9:45 a.m.): BC Hydro says crews are on site and power is expected to be restored at around 10:55 a.m.
EARLIER: BARRIERE, B.C. — A pair of outages have knocked out power for residents in the District of Barriere and the surround area.
According to BC Hydro’s outage map, the power has been out for 1,751 residents in Barriere, Louis Creek, Exlou and area since around 8:00 a.m. Wednesday (March 6).
The cause of the outages is under investigation. Crews are expected to arrive to the scenes at around 9:20 a.m.
