T-Birds top Blazers in Kamloops

KAMLOOPS – The Seattle Thunderbirds earned a 5-3 victory over the Kamloops Blazers in WHL action on Friday (March 1) at Sandman Centre.
Ashton Ferster, Nathan Behm and Jordan Keller scored for Kamloops, with netminder Dylan Ernst stopping 33 shots in a losing effort.
Nathan Pilling netted a pair of goals for the T-Birds (22-34-2-0) in support of goaltender Scott Ratzlaff, who made 25 saves to pick up the victory between the pipes.
Pilling broke a 3-3 tie to register the game-winning goal at 14:15 of the third period.
