Kamloops Council inviting nominations for 2024 Exemplary Service Awards

KAMLOOPS — City Council is calling on all Kamloops residents who deserve to be recognized for contributing to the community.
Council is inviting nominations for the City of Kamloops’ Exemplary Service Awards. The awards formally acknowledge individuals who have dedicated significant volunteer time and service to the community’s growth and development and to the well-being of Kamloops citizens.
Exemplary Service Awards are presented in two categories: young adults under 30 and adults over 30. Recipients need to have been residents in Kamloops throughout the time they are being recognized for and may not be nominated by a family member.
The nomination deadline is 4:30 p.m. on March 14. The individuals selected by council will be recognized at an awards ceremony on April 17.
