KAMLOOPS — Kamloops RCMP are looking for witnesses and information related to what’s believed to be a targeted break-in into an Aberdeen home.

At around 11:00 a.m. Thursday (Feb. 15), RCMP say officers were called to the 2400-block of Drummond Court where suspects reportedly forced their way into a home while some of its occupants were sleeping inside. Police say no injuries were reported.

“Those in the area saw two men running away with what appeared to be firearms, before leaving the area in a black SUV,” Cpl. Crystal Evelyn says. “The incident is believed to be targeted. We are releasing images of the two suspects with hope that someone from the public can help police identify them.”

Additionally, as part of the investigation, police seized weapons, gun ammunition and more than 150 grams of suspected meth, cocaine and crack which appeared packaged for sale.

The suspects are described as two men standing 6’0” and in their 30s. The first suspect was seen with a close-cropped beard and black clothing while the second was seen with a face covering and blue track suit with three white stripes on its arms and legs.
