Kamloops man charged after North Shore break-in Sunday
KAMLOOPS — RCMP took a suspect into custody after a break-and-enter to a North Shore home Sunday (Feb. 11).
Kamloops RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Crystal Evelyn says police were alerted at about 6:10 a.m. Sunday to a man entering a home in the 400-block of Linden Avenue.
Witnesses provided a suspect description to investigators and the canine unit helped lead them to the area of Leigh Road and Tranquille Road.
“From there, frontline officers conducted proactive patrols and quickly located and apprehended a suspect,” said Evelyn.
