Two patients sent to hospital following Highway 1 crash near Juniper Beach park

CACHE CREEK, B.C. — Two patients were sent to hospital after a crash on Highway 1 between Cache Creek and Kamloops Sunday (Feb. 11) morning.

BC Emergency Health Services say paramedics received a call at around 10:42 a.m. Sunday regarding a motor vehicle incident on Highway 1 near the Juniper Beach Provincial Park. Four ambulances responded to the scene, and paramedics cared for and sent two patients to hospital.

At around 11:45 a.m. Sunday, DriveBC reported the stretch of Highway 1 was closed in both directions due to the incident. The roadway partially reopened to single-lane alternating traffic at around 3:30 p.m. before the scene was cleared at around 4:30 p.m.
