WolfPack women’s volleyball earn four-set win in Brandon, men’s team falls 3-1

BRANDON, MB — The Thompson Rivers WolfPack women’s volleyball team fought hard Friday night in Brandon to earn a 3-1 victory on the road.

This marks TRU’s seventh win of the season, with a record of 7-14. The ‘Pack are now just one game back from the Saskatchewan Huskies, and Calgary Dinos, who are tied for the eighth and final playoff spot.

Meantime, the men’s volleyball squad had quite the serve-and-pass battle, but fell 3-1 to the Brandon Bobcats last night on the road.

The WolfPack men will meet the Bobcats again tonight in hopes of finishing with a weekend split. While TRU women’s WolfPack volleyball will try to complete the sweep over the Bobcats tonight.
