November 9, 1939 – January 26, 2024

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Katarina Hruska, who left this world on January 26, 2024, at the age of 84.

Katarina was born on November 9, 1939, in Krog, Slovenia to Anton and Marija Krizan (Horvat).

Katarina was a loving wife to her first Husband, Peter Wiebe who predeceased her in 1974 and then to her second Husband Stanley. She was devoted to her Family and would always be found busy in her garden or cooking gourmet meals and baking wonderful treats.

Katarina is survived by her daughters Tanya (Joe) and Susanne, and son in law Mike Delisimunovic; grandchildren Marinna (Orson), Stefani and Mikey. She also leaves behind her sister Veronica Dolinar in Kamloops, Terezika in Slovenia, sister in laws Val Leaf, Anne Wiebe and numerous nieces and nephews. She will be dearly missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

A memorial mass service to celebrate Katarina’s life will be held on Tuesday February 6, 2024, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church at 11:00 a.m. The family would like to express their gratitude for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time.
