Drivers asked to avoid area in Lower Sahali after truck strikes power pole

KAMLOOPS — Kamloops RCMP are asking drivers to stay away from an area in Lower Sahali Wednesday (Jan. 31) morning.

Police say officers were called to the 900-block of Notre Dame Drive at around 9:10 a.m. Wednesday where a truck reportedly hit a utility pole.

No injuries were reported, but police say Notre Dame Drive and Laval Crescent is closed to traffic while officers and repair crews are on scene.

BC Hydro’s outage map doesn’t show a power outage in the area.
