Kamloops RCMP warn public after Sahali child luring attempt
KAMLOOPS — RCMP are looking into an apparent case of attempted child luring in Sahali.
In a news release, Kamloops RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Crystal Evelyn says the incident happened Tuesday afternoon (Jan. 23) at about 3:20 p.m.
A young person was walking home from school near a path on Greenstone Drive when they were approached by a man driving a black sedan. The man asked the young person to get into the car, prompting the child to run to a nearby business to call a trusted adult.
