Snow pickup begins in downtown Kamloops

KAMLOOPS — Drivers in Kamloops are being asked to limit nighttime parking in the city’s downtown throughout the week.
Starting Sunday (Jan. 21) night, the City of Kamloops’ crews began snow pickup on First Avenue and Lansdowne Street in the city’s downtown following two notable snowfalls last week. In a post to social media, the city says snow pickup runs nightly from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.
Once the downtown area is complete, the city says further snow removal will begin on the North Shore.
