UPDATE (11:00 a.m.): BC Emergency Health Services say four ambulances, including an advanced life support ambulance, and a helicopter responded to the crash on Highway 97 near Monte Lake shortly before 9:00 a.m.
One patient was airlifted to hospital in critical condition.
EARLIER: KAMLOOPS — A vehicle incident has closed a stretch of Highway 97 at Monte Lake.
Vernon North Okanagan RCMP say two vehicles collided in the 3800-block of Highway 97 near Monte Lake at approximately 9:30 a.m. Tuesday (Jan. 16).
