KAMLOOPS — The Kamloops Blazers continue their tear down and reload ahead of the 2024 Western Hockey League (WHL) trade deadline Wednesday (Jan. 10).

The Blazers traded 2004-born forward Connor Levis to the Vancouver Giants in exchange for three WHL Prospects Draft Picks: a first round pick in 2025, a second round pick in 2024 and a fourth round pick in 2026. The second round pick originally belonged to the Seattle Thunderbirds.

Levis was in his fourth season with the Blazers. He scored 151 points (62 goals and 89 assists) in 195 games in Kamloops, including 10 goals and 18 assists in 37 games in 2023-24. Levis was selected 210th overall by the Winnipeg Jets in the 2023 NHL Entry Draft.
