Environment Canada warns of hazardous travel in the North Thompson due to stretches of dense fog

CLEARWATER, B.C. — Another fog advisory is in effect for the North Thompson region to end the work week.

Environment Canada warns that travel is expected to be hazardous in the North Thompson Friday (Jan. 5) morning due to significantly reduced visibility in some stretches. It’s due to atmospheric conditions that are favourable for dense fog to develop.

The weather agency says the fog is expected to dissipate as periods of light snow begins Friday morning.
