Snowfall warning issued for North Thompson and Shuswap

BARRIERE — Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning for communities around Kamloops this afternoon.

Beginning near noon, and end this evening, Enderby, Lumby, Salmon Arm, Clearwater and Barriere are forecasted to receive 10 cm of snow.

“A frontal system approaching from the Pacific Ocean will spread snow to the BC interior today,” reads the warning.

The city of Kamloops is not currently under a warning, however 2-4 cm of snow is forecast on Saturday.
