Impacts of crime survey results to be presented at community meeting

KAMLOOPS — On Wednesday evening, concerned residents and business owners will get a chance to see the results of this year’s Impacts of Crime survey at a business community safety meeting.
Back in September, the North Shore and Downtown Business Improvement Associations launched the 2023 survey to help inform about the challenges local businesses are facing with rising crime.
While the survey has been conducted since 2017, this is the first year that it has expanded to the entire city and T’Kemlups.
In addition to the impacts report, updates will be provided regarding the RCMP’s prolific offender program and other community crime prevention initiatives.
