Fog advisory issued for Highway 5 north of Clearwater

CLEARWATER, B.C. — Drivers along Highway 5 north of Clearwater are being warned of dense fog Monday (Nov. 6) morning.

In an online weather statement online, Environment Canada says areas of dense fog have formed in low-lying areas of the North Columbia region and they will persist through Monday morning.

The weather agency warns travel is expected to be hazardous due to reduced visibility in some areas.

Fog advisories are issued when near zero visibility due to fog is expected or occurring.
