Known offender, stolen truck flee from Williams Lake RCMP traffic stop

WILLIAMS LAKE, B.C. — RCMP in Williams Lake are asking for the public’s help finding a suspect who fled from a traffic stop.

In a news release, police do not say when or where the attempted traffic stop took place, but say the vehicle was stolen and contained a ‘known property crime offender.’

The 2008 grey Toyota Tacoma was stolen from a property on McLeese Lake last Sunday (Oct. 22).

Police say the truck is linked to multiple property crimes in the Cariboo.
