Multi-vehicle incident impacts northbound traffic on Coquihalla Highway south of Kamloops

UPDATE (7:40 a.m.): In an update more than an hour earlier than anticipated, DriveBC says the northbound lanes of the Coquihalla Highway south of Kamloops have reopened.
EARLIER: KAMLOOPS — A multi-vehicle incident is impacting traffic on the Coquihalla Highway just south of Kamloops Friday (Oct. 20) morning.
At around 3:20 a.m., DriveBC reported of the incident that has closed the northbound lanes of Highway 5 between Chuwhels Mountain Road and West Kamloops north of Lac Le Jeune.
No detour is available for northbound traffic, and there is no estimated time for reopening.
